Shadowtrain magazine welcomes submissions of previously unpublished
poems, translations, articles and reviews. Please read the contents of this magazine before you send your work.
Get an idea of the kind of writing the editor likes to publish here. The editor's tastes are eclectic, but the magazine's
leaning is towards the playful and towards what is sometimes called the 'experimental
lyric'. Your submitted text should be included in the body of the email. No attachments please
- I will ask for your work in a file if it is accepted (submissions with attachments will be
deleted). Mark your email 'Submission to Shadowtrain'
in the subject box and include a brief biographical note. Send 4-6 poems or an extract from a longer poem. (All poems
which use extra spaces or alignments should use the space bar, NOT the Tab key, or I will lose the formatting of the
poems.)
I will try to get back to you within a month at the most. PLEASE NO SIMULTANEOUS SUBMISSIONS
Note that I cannot enter into personal correspondence about why I may reject someone's poems.
